The Leaf Exchange was formed in the spring of 2010 to provide a simple way for solar system owners in California to get educated, get registered and get paid for their Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). We believe that the California REC market will become an important new incentive program in the coming years, as a result of the aggressive Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS)  legislation that California is implementing.  The Leaf Exchange will provide a venue for solar system owners to get the best value possible for their REC certificates, in addition to WREGIS registration services, and current REC market news and education.
